Ambassadors

 The Ambassadors are volunteers
that form our public relations arm of the Chamber.
They contact our new and renewing members,
"host" our functions and spread the word about your Arvada Chamber.
Each month, they turn in point sheets
based on their participation.
 The one with the most points is our
"Ambassador of the Month".
 The Ambassador of the Month
for March & April is Jackie Sathre, with
Earth Excursions.
She is also the Vice Chair of the Ambassadors.

Jackie's Ambassador Bio:
I enjoy the connections I make with people
& businesses in the Arvada Community.
I have been a travel counselor since the 70's.
I started my own business in 1991 & provide vacation leisure travel as well as corporate.
For five years I taught travel school both
domestic & international. I love to travel & have visited 40 countries.

City Council Notes

On May 5, City Council heard an update of work performed by the Capital Improvement Committee.
 The City staff has presented the committee with 125 possible projects and taken the committee on tours of the City's facilities.  
City staff has presented a needs analysis and projected cost for each project.
 The committee has started the process of prioritizing the projects.
 Council asked for a list of the prioritized projects within the next three months.
