Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado (Chamber Member)
Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado is one of the first counseling centers in the nation that specifically integrates teams of professional therapists and their therapy animals to facilitate the counseling process.

Black Ops Rescue
Black Ops Rescue is a nonprofit public charity in Arvada, Colorado dedicated to pairing homeless pets with veterans in need for the good of both the veteran and the pet. Black Ops Rescue serves veterans along the Colorado Front Range from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.

Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies
Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR), with a home base at Phoebe’s Place in Arvada, is a mostly volunteer non-profit organization that helps rescue-rehab and place unwanted, abandoned or surrendered Golden Retrievers into loving forever homes.

Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue
Rocky Mountain Horse Rescue provides some horses at the auction as well as provides animals in need when they are contacted by state or local authorities. This orgnaization will also take in some horses whose owners can no longer keep them. Volunteers help to sell donated items at venues, help load or haul donated hay, groom, feed, and muck stalls of rescue horses, haul horses, and safe home (foster) horses.

The Horse Protection League
The Horse Protection League is a nonprofit organization whose mission is “dedicated to the protection of equines by building community through education and advocacy.” They provide horses, donkeys and mules with a chance at a new life. The goal is to find them a loving, forever home.

Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Center celebrates and elevates the human condition with engaging arts, humanities, education, and entertainment that expand the cultural landscape for everyone who visits. They provide a welcoming and safe space for all who want to experince the arts of Arvada. 

Arvada Chorale
The Arvada Chorale started with some volunteers which then turned into a company of 70 plus singers. Performing in a variety of summer, fall and winter concerts, have been bring joy and enrichment to the community through beautiful choral music since 1977. 

Colorado ACTS
The Actors Company and Theater School (Colorado ACTS), founded and operated by Christians, offers theater classes to children four to eighteen years old (seniors in high school). The school’s mission is to bring quality children’s drama education to the local community.

Pro Musica Colorado Chamber Orchestra
Pro Musica Colorado Chamber Orchestra has strived to deliver a world-class chamber orchestra experience through innovative programming, audience intimacy, exceptional talent, and artistic excellence. We are a leadership organization for young adults to help develop leaders for a changing world. The mission of this organization is to provide these young adults with the opportunities and tools to allow them to create a positive change. Brave Young Hearts focuses on outdoor experiences, to provide adventures to children with terminal or life-threatening diseases to allow them to have a chance at normal. Forward Steps invests steps into empowering young adults and youth to allow them to be able to reach their best potential throughout their communities. Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis Foundation
For more than 30 years, the Rocky Mountain District Kiwanis Foundation has devoted its energy to passionately advocating for the needs of children in the Rocky Mountain District. Working together achieve there mission of being able to support the children in the communities and to advance their health, safety, education and welfare.

Warm Hearts-Warm Babies 
Warm Hearts-Warm Babies is a group of volunteers that help to make life easier for Colorado’s tiniest citizens. We sew, knit, crochet, and quilt for premature infants and babies in need. Donations are taken to hospitals, crisis pregnancy centers, and shelters across much of the state of Colorado helps children . All of their gifts are donated free of charge and 100% of what we receive in donations goes to help the babies.

Arvadans for Progressive Action 
APA is a grassroots political group that provides education, encouragement, and resources to help the community push progressive ideals at local, state, and national levels. Providing resources for the community to meet about local and government issues helps members of the community feel they have a voice.

DDRC – Developmental Disabilities Resource Center  (Chamber Member)
The DDRC mission is to create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to participate fully in the community. DDRC is dedicated to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and provide support for their families. 

Two Angels Foundation 
The mission of the Two Angels Foundation is to increase the recreational activities for children living in Colorado with physical disabilities, inspiring them to lead the most inclusive and active lives possible.

U.S Warriors Outdoors 
The mission of the U.S. Warriors Outdoors is to help Wounded Warriors build hope, confidence and family strength through quality outdoor adventures. By providing full financial support, logistics, accommodations and support resources, U.S Warriors are able to give back to our wounded warriors.

CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties (Chamber Member)
The mission at CASA Jeffco/Gilpin is to recruit, train and support volunteers who serve as independent lay advocates for children who are victims of neglect and physical and/or sexual abuse. Our hope is that all children will have a CASA volunteer as someone to pay attention, someone to give the child a voice, someone to care. CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties (CASA Jeffco/Gilpin) was incorporated in July 2000 in response to the need to improve the representation of abused and neglected children in the 1st Judicial District of Colorado. Our first class of nine volunteers was sworn in February 2001 and 51 children were served that year. Today, we have over 300 active volunteers and have served over 5,000 child abuse victims.

Family Tree  (Chamber Member)
Family Tree is a non-profit human services agency providing innovative, life-changing services designed to end child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. Family Tree has been rooted in the metro Denver community since 1976 and, based on their expertise, they change how individuals, families and communities see, respond to and overcome these challenges.

Front Range Center for Assault Prevention 
Front Range CAP is the Denver/Boulder chapter of the International Center for Assault Prevention. Since 1996, they have taught more than 105,000 Colorado children, from pre-school through 12th grade, how to prevent bully assault, stranger abduction and sexual assault.

Porchlight
PorchLight – A Family Justice Center, located in Lakewood and serving Jefferson and Gilpin counties, is a beacon of support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child and elder abuse, and human trafficking. Opened in February 2021, it brings over 75 partner agencies—including local law enforcement, the 1st Judicial District Attorney’s Office, legal aid, mental health professionals, forensic medical staff, and childcare providers—under one roof to create a safe, welcoming, and victim-centered “one-stop” environment. Clients can access free legal advocacy, protection orders, therapy, forensic exams, safety planning, childcare, even a salon and pet care, all without needing multiple appointments or visits. PorchLight’s mission is to streamline access to critical services, reduce the trauma of repeating their story, and offer a compassionate pathway to healing for survivors and their families.

Ralston House
Ralston House provides a warm atmosphere that is less intimidating than a police department. Our child-friendly environment enables children and teens to tell their stories without being re-traumatized in the process. Services are available at locations in Arvada, Lakewood and Northglenn for youth through the age of 18. Accredited by the National Children’s Alliance, Ralston House adheres to best practice policies and procedures to serve the best interest of children.

Sarah’s Home Corp
Sarah’s Home is a faith-based residential home in Colorado for girls ages 12 up to 18 who have been rescued from sex trafficking. They strive to be able to provide support to these young women and give them the resources they need to help them.

Arvada Wheatridge Service Ambassadors For Youth (AWRSAY) (Chamber Member)
For years, AWRSAY has supported our community’s youth. Because of people like you, AWRSAY has recognized over 1,000 students and awarded more that 300 scholarships to hardworking, determined students. AWRSAY’s fiscal agent is the Red Rocks Community College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to supporting Red Rocks Community College in its commitment to students, learning, and excellence.

Arvada West High School Foundation (Chamber Member)
The mission of the Arvada West High School Foundation is to provide scholarships to deserving students, to work philanthropically with the community, and to educate others about the mission.  As a foundation, members strive to grow an alumni membership and database that is dedicated to the goals. Jeffco Schools Foundation (Chamber Member)
Jeffco Schools Foundation exists as a key partner to Jeffco Public Schools. They are an independent nonprofit serving Jeffco students for the last 40 years. The foundation raises funds, supports a variety of programming across schools and educator development, and supports a variety of enrichment opportunities for students.

Outdoor Lab provides an amazing experience for children in middle school and allows for them to gain new opportunities. Rocky Mountain Partnership (Chamber Member)
The Rocky Mountain Partnership unites the community to support children and young people up to age 35 in achieving critical milestones from cradle to career. By working together, members are able to ensure every young person across the region is able to have upward mobility.

The Fiber Optic Network (Chamber Member)

Jefferson County Library Foundation
JCLF’s mission is to support and enrich the capabilities, resources and services of the Jefferson County Public Library through fundraising and advocacy efforts that benefit our diverse community.

Seeds of South Sudan 
Seeds of South Sudan rescues refugee orphans from the Kakuma Refugee Camp so they can receive an education in Kenyan boarding schools. These bright children are selected for their leadership potential and willingness to help others, so they can become the “seeds” to build the new nation of South Sudan.

Walter Michael Northey Memorial Fund Inc 
The mission of the W. Michael Northey Foundation is to honor and preserve the memory of Officer Michael Northey by providing financial assistance to officers and their families in times of need and awarding scholarships to graduating seniors in Arvada to further their education.

Arvada Community Garden (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Community Garden strives to grow with the community.  They are working together to grow healthy and local produce while bringing people together. With a variety of options, the community garden allows anyone of any age to be a part of helping grow the community.

Two Ponds Preservation Foundation (Chamber Member)    Two Ponds Preservation Foundation is a nonprofit group whose vision is to enrich lives and inspire wonder by providing an urban oasis for members of the community to learn and fully experience natural habitat. By enabling an immersive environmental education experience at the Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge, it allows members to create a fostering a lifelong love of nature.

Keep It Colorado

Food For Thought Denver
Food for Thought strives to eliminate weekend hunger for children in the Denver Metro Area by providing food PowerSacks for the weekend, because they believe that no child should go hungry. With support they are able to provide meals for children in need and offer them resources. 

Gofarm 
Gofarm is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen and transform our local food system. What’s a local food system? It’s how local food gets from the farm to your plate, and everything in between! We focus on how we grow our food, how we distribute our food, and who can access and afford the food. Only by working on all of these elements combined can we transform local food system into one that is thriving, environmentally sustainable, and equitable for all.

Alternatives Pregnancy Center (Chamber Member)
Alternatives Pregnancy Center works to help women going through an unexpected pregnancy and providing them with the resources and a safe space to make a decision that is right for them. Focusing on privacy and confidentiality is a big value to this organization. By providing them with several education programs, information and testing allows for the woman to feel welcomed and understand clearly all the options she has.

Breakthrough T1D (Chamber Member)
Breakthrough T1D is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our mission is to improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. The Breakthrough Mountain West Chapter serves the states of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. There is nothing you can do to prevent it. And, at present, there is no cure. Breakthrough T1D is working to change that.

Carin’ Clinic (Chamber Member)
Carin’ Clinics mission is to provide affordable high-quality health care services to children between the ages of birth and 18 years of low-income families who have no access or limited access to health care, thus promoting healthy children, healthy families, and a healthy community. 

Epic Experience (Chamber Member)
Epic Experience empowers adult cancer survivors and thrivers to live beyond cancer and offers adult Cancer Thrivers a week in the Colorado Rockies with other survivors. A cancer diagnosis can be scary and very isolating. Offering a fun week that has new challenges and laughter, helps the adult Cancer Thrivers enjoy the gift of extraordinarily joyful moments, lasting friendships, newfound courage, and memories that remain long after the Colorado River is conquered. In 2020 we along with the rest of the world changed our focus to online programs, allowing for more opportunity amongst people. 

Front Range PharmaLogic (Chamber Member)
Front Range PharmaLogic is a group of people that believe in supporting an innovative biopharmaceutical industry that focuses on access to life saving medicines, safety & patient needs.

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital
Lutheran Hospital, part of Intermountain Health, is a community-based, acute-care hospital located in Wheat Ridge, CO. Local and national ratings organizations regularly recognize Lutheran for clinical excellence, patient safety and patient experience. Lutheran’s premier services include a five-star birthing center, Heart and Neurovascular Center, robotic surgery, Primary Stroke Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center, Orthopedics, a Level II Trauma Center and emergency services. Lutheran is owned by Intermountain Health, a nonprofit health care organization that operates 34 hospitals and over 400 clinics in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, and Montana.

Jefferson Center for Mental Health (Chamber Member)
Jefferson Center is a nonprofit, community-focused mental health care and substance use services provider. We offer hope and support to individuals and families who are struggling with mental health and substance use issues. Serving our community is at the core of everything they do. Jefferson Center is an integral part of the communities it serves, understands the needs of communities and has an extensive network of community partnerships and collaborations. Jefferson Center has a variety of programs for people of all ages, from all walks of life.

Justice Necessary (Chamber Member)
This organization has implemented their five pillars of education, awareness, advocacy, community and engagement to support the people on the front lines providing them with access to basic hygiene essentials. People go everyday without access to these basic hygiene essentials and as an organization they work to ensure everyone involved has access to these essentials.

Intervention Inc. 
Intervention works to enhance client success and public safety through quality integrated services and collaboration with community partners. By doing so, they are able to provide success many along with opportunity. 

American Heart Association 
For nearly 100 years, the American Heart Association has been fighting heart disease and stroke, striving to save and improve lives. Since the start, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. By driving breakthroughs in science, policy and care, together the American Heart Association strives to continue to advance health and transform lives every day.

Colorado Visiting Nurse Association 
Colorado Visiting Nurse Association (CVNA) provides the most appropriate range of health care solutions to allow people to maximize independence and to heal and age at home. CVNA has two values, to provide health solutions that enable people to function as independently as possible in their homes and communities and to provide high-quality care that is cost effective with high patient satisfaction. By striving for these values, they are able to create a solution to allow people to heal and age in the comfort of their own home.

NAMI Jeffco 
NAMI Jeffco is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families through support, education, and advocacy. Helping these people offers them a chance to live a better quality of life and with support from the community they can do that.

Beyond Home (Chamber Member)
Colorado Homeless Families serves the entire family for approximately 18 months to 2 years, (some families need more time, due to educational requirements or health problems) with case management, counseling, educational seminars, support group meetings, summer youth program and access to the food/clothing/furniture bank. Beyond Home’s goal is to rescue children and families from poverty and equip them with the tools they need to become better parents, and contributing members of society, as well as to become self-sufficient. While in the CHF program, families are able to develop a stable home environment for themselves and their children. 

Foothills Regional Housing (Chamber Member)
Foothills Regional Housing Organization focuses on affordable living in Jeffco. Their mission “is to create vibrant, stable communities in areas of opportunity via bold and strategic initiatives, and to provide families and individuals with housing options driven by compassion and respect throughout Jefferson County.” By doing this it provides affordable living to families and people in the area.

Mission Arvada of The Rising Church (Chamber Member)
Mission Arvada is a comprehensive ministry of The Rising that seeks to help the poor, hurting, addicted, marginalized, and homeless of our community.

Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Foundation
The Blues & BBQ Festival for Better Housing is a organization that is dedicated to increasing awareness and raising money for, Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver through an annual music festival and other community events. The foundation puts on several community events to bring awareness to the topic of this. 

International Hope Builders 
International Hope Builders works with collaborative partnerships to meet the critical need for affordable and sustainable building solutions around the world. They focus on restoring worth and building it up with hope while being a part of the community.

Willow Green Townhomes 
The Willow Green Townhomes are located at 34th Street and Hickok Place, just south of Iris in north east Boulder. There are forty townhomes in a quiet neighborhood providing housing help for those who might need it. 

 

ChristAid International 
The vision of ChristAid International is to be a positive influence for Christ in the culture of Uganda. That is being accomplished through Christian education, compassionate care and financial support for the very poor in the region of Fort Portal and Kicuna, Uganda. Those touched by the love of God through the ministry of ChristAid will have, and are having, an impact on their families, their communities, and the nation of Uganda.

Lightbridge International 
LightBridge International is about the orphan and the poor of people who have been a part of sex trafficking. Their mission being for vulnerable people in abject poverty, victimized or vulnerable to human trafficking. Through the five pillars, spiritual redemption, comprehensive education, dignified employment, health and hygiene and property ownership offers people to get a chance to go back to a normal life. 

Arvada Elks Lodge (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Elks Lodge is a Fraternal Organization. Elks have a deep feeling of reverence for families, our nation and its flag. Members are committed to the ideals of Patriotism, Charity, Justice and Brotherly Love. The Elks have a long proud history of sharing and caring for our active duty military and veterans. Members strive to maintain a position of leadership in the community. Elks come to the aid of those in need because of unusual circumstances, providing financial assistance, food clothing and willing volunteers. The Lodge has an occupancy rating of 300 and is available for rent for meetings, conventions, weddings, memorials and other community special events. Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis (Chamber Member)
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Their motto being “Serving the Children of the World,” strives them to empower communities to improve to make differences in the lives of children. Service is the key part of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located, members work together to create lasting effects in communities. 

Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club  (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Sunrise Rotary Club is a service-oriented organization dedicated to serving the Arvada community and the wider world. They focus on initiatives like supporting local youth through organizations like AWRSAY promoting literacy and leadership with the Speak Up Scholarship Challenge and contributing to global projects like Sole Hope. The theme “Rotary Connects the World” is one that gives us the opportunity to reach out and do our best to connect with others. 

Lake Arbor Optimist Club (Chamber Member)
For 100 years, Optimist Clubs have participated in community service programs that are dedicated to bringing out the best in youth. Since each Club is autonomous and run by members in their community, Optimists have the unique flexibility to serve the youth of their area in any way they see fit.

Rotary Club of Arvada  (Chamber Member)
Rotary Club of Arvada is a service organization that focuses on the community and development. This organization has several key aspects such as service focus, membership, fellowship, and community involvement. These make up the achievements and the overall goal of focusing on community driven events and programs.  

American Legion Post 161
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities.

Arvada Lions Club
Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been since we first began in 1917. Our clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities, and the world.

Arvada VFW Post 4331
The VFW traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service. Annually, the nearly 2 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliaries contribute more than 8.6 million hours of volunteerism in the community. From providing over $3 million in college scholarships and savings bonds to students every year, to encouraging elevation of the Department of Veterans Affairs to the president’s cabinet, the VFW is there.

Apex Park and Recreation District Foundation (Chamber Member)
Apex Park and Recreation District offers fun, affordable, safe and accessible recreation to residents and members of neighboring communities. Its goal is to welcome and encourage all current and new participants to get active and stay active for a better quality of life. This is achieved through hundreds of activities offered at dozens of year-round and seasonal facilities throughout Arvada.

Arvada Soccer Association dba Real Colorado EDGE (Chamber Member)
Arvada Soccer Association strives to engage players at all levels and commitments to develop a passion for the game and commitment to the Club that will last through their adult life. No matter what your skill level is, they want to provide a fun and safe space for you to express your athletic ability. Providing a wide variety of camps and programs offers an option for any person helps them achieve their missions.

Assisted Cycling Tours, Inc
Assisted Cycling tours seek to create an atmosphere of true inclusion, empowerment and fun through our bike programs and our bike shop. As an organization they strive to give people who are “invisible” in our society the opportunity to develop into people who can contribute to society when just given the opportunity.

The Wall Sports Foundation
The Wall Sports Foundation has been founded to support youth athletes and their families who find themselves struggling to keep their athlete in the game, and also support those individuals who have a passion for the specialized under-recognized positions within the game of ice hockey: Goalies and Referees. The Wall Sports Foundation supports these and all athletes through small grants and scholarships.

Hope House of Colorado  (Chamber Member)
Hope House is metro-Denver’s only resource providing free self-sufficiency programs to parenting teen moms, including Residential, High School & GED and College & Career Programs. Additional supportive services include parenting and healthy relationships classes, an Early Learning Program, health and wellness, financial literacy and personal growth classes as well as certified counseling, all designed to prepare them for long-term independence. Hope House relies on numerous volunteers and local business partnerships to accomplish its mission.

Elephant Circle 
Elephant Circle brings an intersectional, feminist, reproductive justice, design thinking approach to this work. This approach will help manifest solutions every step of the way that do not re-inscribe status-quo power dynamics – making true transformation possible.

 

Arvada Historical Society (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Historical Society is an organization that’s mission is to collect, preserve and share information about Arvada and give people the resources to understand the history of Arvada. They also work to keep up the artifacts that sit in the museum as well as update information as history is created. Their new website is coming soon.

Arvada Police Foundation (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Police Foundation’s mission is to “strengthen partnerships between our community and the Arvada Police Department and support its mission of providing exceptional police service.” The foundation was created to raise funds for the Arvada Police Department by prompting events involving both them and the community with their end mission being to provide “excellence service.”

Arvada Vitality Alliance (AVA) (Chamber Member)
The Arvada Vitality Alliance (AVA) is a non-profit organization focused on improving the quality of life in Arvada, Colorado. AVA raises funds to support charitable and cultural organizations, enhances the city’s aesthetics through public art initiatives, and collaborates with the City of Arvada to improve public spaces. AVA exists to understand local needs, increase conversation about key community issues and fund initiatives and organizations who work to move the needle on the AVA annual key focus areas. CityUnite (Chamber Member)
CityUnite exists to help faith, government, and business leaders unite around common causes in the Denver Metro area. It was born in 2008 when a handful of local leaders began meeting in order to identify what they could do together that they could never do alone. They believe that relationships matter and that they are the key to building thriving communities.

Colorado Gives Foundation (Chamber Member)
Colorado Gives Foundation connects people, ideas and Colorado nonprofits to make good happen. Colorado Gives Foundation is a Jefferson County grant maker, investing millions annually to Jeffco-serving nonprofits committed to ensuring that all of Jeffco is thriving. While they also work statewide to build the capacity of nonprofits and donors via ColoradoGives.org, nonprofit endowments and donor services. Through ColoradoGives.org, they make it easy for people to donate to the causes they care about, enabling meaningful change to help our neighbors thrive. Colorado Gives Foundation is where donors find and discover the community impact that matters most to them, which is good for everyone.

CrossPurpose is a non-profit organization abolishing relational, economic and spiritual poverty through career and community development. They offer training and opportunities for careers in industries that need them most.

Goodwill of Colorado (Chamber Member)
Goodwill of Colorado is an organization that focuses on giving back and making a donation to change a life. Their vision is to transform people’s lives through donations and their mission is to “help people overcome barriers to economic and personal independence through education, training and job placement.”By doing this, Goodwill has been able to impact many people’s lives and provide them with empowering actions to help change a person’s life.

Old Town Arvada Business Improvement District (Chamber Member)
In 2014, the business and property owners of Olde Town in conjunction with The City of Arvada, created the Olde Town Arvada Business Improvement District (BID) with the mission to preserve, promote and enhance the vibrancy of Olde Town. The BID strives to create and maintain an identifiable and always active business district that is inclusive to all, allowing our diverse businesses to prosper and setting the stage for a truly authentic experience. The BID’s operating plan focuses on advocacy, marketing and events, placemaking, mobility, physical improvements and safety.

The Best Year Yet Foundation is a organization that provides InteraWorks systems, tools, and other support to help organize, focus, and increase effectiveness in nonprofits while reducing the burnout so often associated with service work.

Global Refuge International 
Global Refuge creates and operates businesses that provide jobs, livelihoods and emergency assistance to victims of war. By providing victims of war with these opportunities, they are able to change the lives of so many victims that have be affected and making them feel apreciated. 

Serve The Line 
Serve The Line works serve and honor those who protect the line through charitable action response. By doing this they make these memebrs feel valued and appericiated.

Team Rubicon serves communities by mobilizing veterans to continue their service, leveraging their skills and experience to help people prepare, respond, and recover from disasters and humanitarian crises.
