Arvada Strong Business Fund
The Arvada Strong Fund was established by the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce to deliver swift, reliable support to local businesses and nonprofits in times of true emergency. This fund is not intended to address routine financial or operational challenges, but rather to help organizations recover from unexpected crises—such as natural disasters, criminal incidents, sudden property damage, or other urgent circumstances that disrupt normal operations. It may also provide scholarships for critical Chamber resources that aid in recovery and continuity.
Through the Arvada Strong Fund, the Chamber is committed to ensuring that local businesses and nonprofits have a safety net in the event of emergencies. These companies and organizations are the backbone of Arvada—providing jobs, services, and community impact that shape our city’s vitality. By helping them rebuild and respond quickly in times of crisis, we strengthen community stability, preserve local character, and invest in a resilient future for everyone in Arvada.
How to Give?
So far, the Arvada Strong Fund has raised $7,375 thanks to generous community support, and we are on our way to reaching our 2025 goal of $20,000. Every contribution helps us get closer to that milestone, ensuring we can continue to provide urgent assistance to local businesses and nonprofits when challenges arise. By reaching our goal, we will strengthen Arvada’s capacity to recover quickly from hardship and invest in the long-term resilience of our community.
About the Grant
Background
Eligibility for the Arvada Strong Fund is open to both local businesses and nonprofits that serve the Arvada community. Applicants eligible for support include small businesses and nonprofit organizations that have experienced hardship within the past three months—whether due to emergencies, crime, property damage, or financial challenges that impact access to essential resources. The fund prioritizes organizations committed to sustaining operations, recovering from recent setbacks, or expanding their ability to serve the community. All ventures, regardless of industry or size, are welcome to apply and share how this support can help them continue making a difference locally.
How to apply?
To apply for a grant from the Arvada Strong Fund, please complete the form below. Once your submission is received, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will carefully review your request and follow up regarding next steps. This process ensures each application is thoughtfully considered and that support reaches those who need it most.
Recent Recipient
BeyondHome is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families to escape poverty and homelessness by providing stable housing, supportive services, and transformative opportunities in Arvada and the surrounding region. They serve approximately 200 individuals annually, primarily single mothers and their children, through affordable housing units and a wide range of programs focused on financial literacy, employment readiness, mental health, and youth development.
As a recipient of the Arvada Strong Fund grant, BeyondHome is addressing urgent needs related to recent basement flooding that affected several housing units. With help from the Chamber’s $500 grant, BeyondHome can mitigate immediate damage and repair homes for resident families. This support strengthens the organization’s resilience, allowing them to continue their mission of providing safe, stable housing and comprehensive resources to vulnerable families in Arvada.
