On October 15, 2021, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce hosted Ballots and Breakfast, a forum that looked at various questions on this year’s ballot, including: Arvada City Charter Amendments, Proposition 119 (Learning Enrichment and Academic Progress), Proposition 120 (Property Tax Assessment Rate Reduction), and School Board Candidates. Election day is November 2, 2021.

This year, through a pro-business and bipartisan lens, the Arvada Chamber evaluated each of the below ballot questions in an effort to understand the implications if they were to pass. The conversations start with our Government Affairs Committee vetting the issues and making a recommendation to the Chamber Board of Directors. The Board then evaluates the recommendations and determines the final organization position.
