Childcare Spots Available in Arvada | Q4 2025

December 16, 2025
B.O.L.D. 2026 Childcare

Your employees caring for young children are working overtime to find care for their kids. In Colorado, there are only 2 licensed childcare spots for every 3 children under the age of 6 who have two parents working. The lack of childcare spots disproportionately affects parents with infants and toddlers. In the Tri-County area, which includes Jefferson, Clear Creek, and Gilpin Counties, only 18% of infants and 40% of toddlers have access to care.

Providing your staff with resources to secure reliable childcare will benefit your business:

  • Increased productivity because staff aren’t navigating childcare issues
  • Decrease employee absenteeism and turnover due to employees leaving because of childcare challenges. It costs businesses up to 33% of a worker’s total compensation to replace an employee.
  • Avoid decreased revenue Some businesses can’t fully staff operations when staff are out due to childcare challenges
  • Hire and retain top talent. Over half of parents say childcare responsibilities have been a factor in accepting a job

We currently have openings for new creative enrichment partnerships, and our in-studio after-school programming begins as early as 4:00 pm with new sessions starting in late January. We can also bring curated art and maker activities directly to schools or places of work at any point in the year, depending on scheduling needs. Our primary age group is 1st–5th grade, but we also offer developmentally appropriate programming for Preschool and Kindergarten along with more advanced options for middle schoolers and teens. In addition to after-school offerings, we have availability for School Break Camps during Spring, Fall, Winter, and Summer. These options provide flexible ways for partners to bring meaningful, process-based creative experiences to their communities.

Eligibility: There are no special eligibility requirements for families or children to participate in our programs. We welcome young artists of all experience levels, and families can simply select the class or camp that aligns with their child’s age group. Our primary programming is designed for 1st–5th graders, but we also offer options for Preschool and Kindergarten as well as middle schoolers and teens. As long as the child is within the listed age range for the session, they are eligible to enroll and join the creative experience.

By sharing this information, you are not only supporting your employees and your business, you’re also supporting local childcare businesses, which serve as the backbone of our economy. They allow caregiving employees to work and businesses to stay open. The Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), a program that subsidizes childcare for low-income families, is currently on a freeze, so childcare providers cannot fill their open spots with CCAP recipients. This is causing many childcare providers to close their doors and incur costs from lost revenue.
