Greater Arvada Chamber Joins Over 30 Leaders Across Colorado in Talent Pipeline Management Training

August 26, 2025

Over 30 leaders across Colorado gathered this past week in Edwards, Colorado to learn how to apply Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) to address talent pipeline issues in our state. This marks an exciting moment as Greater Arvada Chamber President & CEO, Kami Welch, was among the first to be trained in TPM across the country in 2017. Over the past 8 years, the framework has had a positive impact on talent pipelines locally and nationally, and now we’ll have the opportunity to leverage it more broadly across the state.

TPM is an approach to workforce development that aims to align the skills of the workforce with the needs of employers. The concept was developed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation as a strategy to address the skills gap and improve the connection between education and the workforce. In traditional workforce development models, there can be a disconnect between the skills that job seekers possess and the skills that employers need. TPM seeks to bridge this gap by fostering collaboration between employers, education and training providers, and other stakeholders.

The Colorado cohort consists of leaders throughout Jefferson County, Larimer County, Mesa County, Arapahoe County, Eagle County, the Pikes Peak Region, Southern Colorado, and Southwest Colorado.

The Greater Arvada Chamber is proud to be part of the Jefferson County team along with Jeffco Economic Development Corporation, Jeffco Business and Workforce Center, Jeffco Public Schools, Red Rocks Community College, Career Wise, Manufacturer’s Edge, and Colorado Bioscience Institute. The team is focused on addressing talent challenges in advanced manufacturing using TPM over the next few months. The training wraps in November.
