ARVADA, Colo. – The Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate two major recognitions received at the 2025 Colorado Chamber Alliance Annual Conference. President & CEO Kami Welch was named CEO of the Year, and the Chamber’s Family-Friendly Workplace Certification Program was awarded “Best Idea.”
With 13 years of dedicated service leading the Greater Arvada Chamber, Kami has consistently championed strategic, innovative growth initiatives that support businesses and strengthen the broader community. In addition to this latest honor, she was recently introduced as Chair of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) Board of Directors for 2025–2026, continues to serve on the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Board, and this year earned both the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) designation and the prestigious Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) credential.
The Chamber was also recognized for its Family-Friendly Workplace Certification Program, launched in 2024 to help businesses across Arvada and the surrounding region embed family-positive policies into their workplace culture. Designed to address challenges in talent attraction and retention, the program empowers employers to demonstrate their commitment to employee well-being and become employers of choice.
