The Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share that our President & CEO, Kami Welch, will serve as Interim CEO of the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation (Jeffco EDC) on a part‑time basis. The interim engagement is expected to begin on March 15, 2026, and continue for approximately six months.
This opportunity reflects the strong organizational capacity the Arvada Chamber has built—allowing us to contribute to important regional economic development efforts while continuing to deliver on our mission and the high‑quality programs, advocacy, and services our business community relies on every day.
Please rest assured that no changes are expected to the services or support we provide to Arvada Chamber members and partners. Kami will continue to serve as President & CEO of the Greater Arvada Chamber, and we have intentionally designed our team’s structure, systems, and capacity to ensure uninterrupted delivery of Chamber initiatives, events, business advocacy, and workforce programs.
Safeguards have been thoughtfully put in place to maintain transparency and avoid conflicts of interest. The Arvada Chamber remains fully focused on advancing a thriving business environment and enhancing the economic vitality of the Arvada community.
As always, we are grateful for your continued partnership and trust. Questions regarding this interim arrangement or regional efforts can be directed to our Board Chair or Kami Welch. Together, we’ll continue to ensure Arvada’s voice and leadership remain strong—now and into the future.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Reinert, Board Chair
