Ambassadors

Chamber Ambassadors play a crucial role in fostering community engagement and promoting local businesses. As an enthusiastic volunteer, you will serve as the face of the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce, welcoming new members and facilitating connections within the business community.

Finance Committee

The Greater Arvada Chamber Finance Committee brings together seasoned professionals and industry experts dedicated to strengthening the Chamber’s financial resilience. By analyzing, interpreting, and optimizing financial strategies, the team ensures sustainability in a constantly evolving economic climate. 

Local Issue Review Team

The Local Issue Review Team meets quarterly to assess and address emerging issues that impact businesses at the city and county level. This team will review key topics affecting our local business environment, bring in leaders and experts related to these issues, and help determine both the impact on businesses and possible courses of action. 

HR Cohort

The HR Cohort brings together passionate leaders committed to solving the toughest challenges in attracting and retaining talent. Members actively share insights on how these issues affect their organizations and share ideas about the supports they need with the Chamber and KAPS Councils. Together, they pilot new ideas, provide critical feedback, and receive support to implement strategies that address key workforce challenges like income-aligned housing, childcare access, and talent pipeline development.

KAPS Councils

KAPS stands for Kick-Ass Problem Solvers. These groups of business and community leaders are brought together to work diligently toward an aligned outcome that will solve a persistent problem.

B.O.L.D. 2026 Advocacy

Advocacy KAPS Council

The Greater Arvada Chamber Advocacy KAPS Council is a vital coalition of business and community leaders who work together to serve as a unified voice influencing pro-industry legislation and economic opportunity in Arvada, Jefferson County, Adams County, and Colorado. By meeting regularly, engaging in legislative updates, council members strategically advance policies that protect business interests, create a balanced regulatory climate, and foster long-term economic growth for the entire community. Their sustained collaboration ensures businesses have a consistent and impactful presence in policy discussions that shape the region’s prosperity.

Entrepreneurship KAPS Council

The Greater Arvada Chamber’s Entrepreneurship KAPS Council helps Arvada and the region enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem by implementing targeted programming, providing business resources, and conducting outreach efforts. Key success indicators for the group include a rise in sales tax revenue, reduced business closures, and growth in job opportunities.

Childcare KAPS Council

The Greater Arvada Chamber Childcare KAPS Council helps Arvada and the region enable caregivers to join/rejoin the workforce and give children the quality early learning experience they need to thrive. The Childcare KAPS Council will focus on raising business leaders’ awareness and understanding of the region’s challenge with childcare access and affordability and the impact this has on business success. The KAPS council will also promote strategies that employers can implement to mitigate these challenges to boost talent recruitment and retention efforts.

Housing KAPS Council

The Greater Arvada Chamber’s Housing KAPS Council helps Arvada and Jefferson / Adams Counties increase the stock of workforce housing to ensure workers can attain housing within reasonable proximity to their jobs. Objectives of this KAPS Council include defining essential policy pillars at state and local levels, examining ADU supply opportunities, and enhancing education and awareness for policy leaders and community members around housing as an economic imperative.

Inclusion & Belonging KAPS Council

Belonging is at the heart of our core values and work at the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce. The Inclusion & Belonging KAPS Council meets monthly to help the Chamber ensure that Arvada is leading the way by increasing the number of businesses that take meaningful action to improve their I&B best practices. By creating an inclusive environment, we will empower new perspectives, solutions, and opportunities for our local economy and serve our mission as a champion for advancing ALL businesses and employees in Arvada.
