November 25, 2025

By Ryan Hecht, Greater Arvada Chamber VP of Marketing and Communications

Editor’s note: See bottom of post for details on the Member of the Month selection process and to nominate your business.

For nearly two decades, Boundless Body and Wellness has been a trusted source of whole-person care in Arvada. What began as a one-woman massage therapy practice has transformed into a thriving wellness center offering integrated therapeutic services and a compassionate team dedicated to helping clients feel their best.

“I worked as a solopreneur for 11 years, specializing in pain management therapies and later adding health coaching for a whole-body approach to self-care,” said owner Amber Stevens. In 2019, she hired her first massage therapist, and in 2021, she expanded into her current wellness center, which now offers integrated care with a team of eight therapists.

Owner Amber Stevens has built her business around empathy, education, and a sincere belief that investing in your own health can help those around you thrive.

“Arvada is a lovely place to live and to be involved in others’ well-being. When a person feels good, the community feels good.”

We are thrilled to recognize Boundless Body and Wellness as our Member of the Month.

How did you get started in massage therapy?

Amber: I started my wellness career a bit later in life but always felt called to help others, especially in caring for themselves. I began as a massage therapist focused on deeply understanding the body—how it moves and functions—to offer benefits beyond relaxation. Over time, I added Health Coaching to help clients with their food relationships, sleep, and stress management.

I love knowing I can make a positive impact in someone’s life within just five minutes. Showing empathy and compassion, paired with my expertise, means people smile when they see me—and that makes me very happy.

What is unique about your services?

We offer therapeutic massage, prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, reiki, EFT, health coaching, yoga, tai chi, qigong, and trauma-informed yoga and therapy. If something is causing you physical or emotional pain, there’s no need to suffer—we can help.

I also recently launched PeriPowerful, a community supporting perimenopausal women. We meet monthly to learn from women’s health experts and build confidence during the transition into mid-life.

Our uniqueness lies in our 50+ combined years of experience and our commitment to continuing education and internal training. We work collaboratively—sharing knowledge with each other—so every client receives deep, well-rounded support, no matter which therapist they see.

We consider the whole person, listening for what your mind and body need to feel well and integrating care so your wellness experience is truly holistic and supported in one location.

Our successes show in the transformations we witness in our clients. We’re proud to have been voted Best of the Best for the past 7 years!

What advice would you give a new business or entrepreneur in Arvada?

Take advantage of the free services available through SCORE and the SBDC—they are incredibly valuable for small businesses. Also, find (and if needed, invest in) your business community. The Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce offers huge support and networking opportunities—you don’t have to do it alone!

Lastly, embrace your role as a business owner. My business took off when my mindset shifted from “I’m a massage therapist with my own practice” to “I’m a business owner offering massage services.” It’s subtle, but it makes a big impact on how you problem-solve and show up.

What notable changes have occurred in your industry since you started?

People are generally more stressed. Calming the nervous system has always been part of wellness work, but I’m seeing more “wired but tired” clients—bodies that are overstimulated yet exhausted. This increases the need for our services but also makes it harder for some people to prioritize self-care. As a result, the marketplace has become more competitive, and the need to regularly reinvent our services and outreach is greater.

What are some misconceptions about your work or industry?

“Massage is a luxury.”
Reality: Therapeutic touch is essential for managing stress, pain, tightness, alignment, balance, and more. Many clients tell us massage is the only thing that keeps them going.

“Health coaches just tell me what to eat.”
Reality: There’s plenty of information online about nutrition, but a health coach helps you understand what matters for your body and, more importantly, how to implement meaningful changes.

“A $120 massage means you must make a lot of money.”
Reality: Most massage therapists can only work about 20 hours a week due to the physical demands, and at least half of that income goes to taxes and business costs. Therapists work incredibly hard, and every dollar is well earned.

What have you found most valuable about being a member of the Greater Arvada Chamber?

I feel connected to a larger business community and can easily find resources to support my needs. Entrepreneurship can be lonely at times, and the Chamber makes me feel supported. The members are approachable, and there’s a strong sense of “we’re in this together.” I also appreciate that the Chamber staff are accessible and ready to help.
