This month, we’re spotlighting Olde Town Social, a locally owned cocktail lounge bringing craft cocktails, shareable plates, and memorable experiences to Olde Town Arvada.
“Olde Town Social is the brain child of the minds of Sam Jordan, Colton Mortag, and Lincoln Ayle,” Owner/ Operator, Sam shared. “Humble beginnings, hospitality experience, and a passion for great food and atmosphere created our cocktail lounge and shareable plate menu.”
The team recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, marking an exciting milestone for a business built around connection, community, and hospitality.
For Sam, hospitality has been a lifelong passion. His first industry job came at age 13 as a “Soda Jerk” at his local soft-serve restaurant, The Drive Inn. Today, he finds the greatest reward in being part of life’s biggest moments.
“The most rewarding feature of this work especially for me is being involved in so many people’s greatest days,” Sam said. “Everything from birthdays to graduations, it’s a pleasure to be involved with the neighborhoods’ big days.”

At Olde Town Social, guests can enjoy an eclectic cocktail menu, a tapas-inspired shareable plate menu, and nightly entertainment including trivia, karaoke, and live music every Friday and Saturday night.
The team of 11 hospitality professionals plays a key role in creating the welcoming atmosphere guests have come to expect.
“Everyone hired here has had an incredible gift for care of service,” Sam shared. “We have been incredibly lucky with our staff.”
When it comes to building a successful business, Sam says the biggest lesson has been the importance of passion and creating genuine connections with customers.
“To an extent there is a bit of ‘if you can build it, they will come,’” Sam said. “However, a lot of my experience here has been ‘if you share your passion, your customers will come back.’”
Sam has also seen the hospitality industry evolve, particularly around inclusion and creating stronger teams.
“I believe that some of the chief developments have evolved in terms of inclusion,” he said. “It shapes more well-rounded teams if everyone feels the right to be involved.”

Through membership with the Greater Arvada Chamber, Olde Town Social has benefited from valuable connections, business opportunities, and member resources.
“Being involved in such an active Chamber is incredible,” Sam said. “We have earned many business opportunities from the Chamber and have met a ton of incredible people.”
We’re proud to have Olde Town Social as part of the Greater Arvada Chamber community and celebrate their commitment to creating a place where people can gather, celebrate, and connect.
