Arvada, CO, August 7, 2025 – The Greater Arvada Chamber is proud to announce the return of its annual Arvada Future 20 campaign, a month-long celebration each September honoring Arvada’s most promising young professionals. This year, the Chamber will recognize 20 emerging leaders across business, non-profit, and public sectors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to their fields.
The Arvada Future 20 list highlights professionals under the age of 40 who have already made significant contributions in their careers and are poised to shape the future of our community. Nominations are now open to the public and may be submitted by colleagues, supervisors, friends, or the nominees themselves. We are seeking nominations for entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, community leaders, volunteers, and changemakers from every corner of Arvada.
Nominations will be accepted through September 15, 2025 at midnight.
“Retaining top talent, especially among young professionals, is more vital than ever,” said Kami Welch, President & CEO of the Greater Arvada Chamber. “A recent 2025 report from Gallup found that Gen Z and millennials make up nearly 60% of the workforce, but only 31% report being engaged in their jobs. Programs like Future 20 are not just about recognition, they’re about fostering a sense of purpose, belonging, and long-term commitment to our community.”
Additional studies show that recognition plays a pivotal role in retention. Deloitte’s 2024 Human Capital Trends report notes that organizations with strong recognition programs have 31% lower voluntary turnover. Honoring the achievements of young professionals helps build a resilient and connected workforce in Arvada.
The 2025 Arvada Future 20 honorees will receive a dedicated spotlight on arvadachamber.org and across the Chamber’s social media platforms. They will also be invited to a Future 20 Mixer and formally recognized at the Leadership Luncheon on October 22, 2025. Honorees will receive 50% off tuition to the Chamber’s signature 12-week Leadership Bootcamp and will be fast-tracked for local leadership and professional development opportunities.
