October 9, 2025 – ARVADA, CO. On October 3, 2025, over 180 volunteers stepped up to help on thirteen service projects for the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce’s second-annual Day of Service. Hosted by the Chamber Board of Directors, Day of Service invited business and community leaders to give three hours of volunteer time to help Arvada non-profits and community organizations.
“The Greater Arvada Chamber has been bringing people together to support a vibrant and resilient local economy for 100 years,” Kami Welch, Greater Arvada Chamber President & CEO said. “Part of our purpose as an organization is to make a positive impact on our community and that is reflected in our vision: Healthy businesses, thriving community. Day of Service allows our business leaders to step up, do something amazing and complete tasks that local nonprofit organizations may not have had the ability to accomplish otherwise.”
“Day of Service is incredible because it is an opportunity for local businesses to learn about us, but also because we have so many projects that need work,” said Julia Walker, Executive Director of Hope Connection and Community. “Having this help takes a lot of pressure off of our small nonprofit organization. This feels amazing!”
Day of Service 2025 was sponsored by Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital, Aspen Wealth Strategies, Pink’s Windows Northwest Denver, Barber-Nichols, Stonebridge Builders, Payroll Vault – North Metro Denver, ALC Property Maintenance, Xcel Energy, CityUnite, and Stonebridge Retirement Community.
