On Friday, April 19, newly elected Arvada Mayor Lauren Simpson delivered the Annual State of the City Address to over 100 attendees inside Revive Church. In the hour speech, Mayor Simpson addressed achievements, issues, and upcoming projects for the City of Arvada. The recent Business Housing Advocates kick-off training convened Arvada business leaders to learn about advocacy and how to testify to support income-aligned housing access. Read about the five key elements to testify and how you can get involved!
Taste of Arvada returns on July 11, 2024 at the Apex Center. Tickets go on sale May 1 and processing fees are waived through May 7! The Arvada Chamber is also accepting applications for food and drink vendors, as well as non-food vendors. There is no charge to Chamber members to be a food and drink vendor.

Thirteen local middle school students will compete in the National Civics Bee, a live quiz event to test their civics knowledge. The finalists will receive various prizes, including $500 cash for the first-place student, and the top three students will go to the state competition. Free to attend! arvadachamber.org/CivicsBee

On Friday morning, April 19, the Arvada Chamber and the City of Arvada will host the 2024 State of the City Address at Revive Church. In her inaugural address, “From Milestones to Horizons: Charting the Path Forward,” Arvada Mayor Lauren Simpson will celebrate accomplishments of the past year and preview the work to come in the future.
