Arvada Chamber Invites Businesses and the Community to 2024 Childcare Summit

February 13, 2024

The Arvada Chamber invites businesses and the community to attend the B.O.L.D. 2026 Childcare Summit, a half-day informative and inspiring event centered on the challenge of affordable and accessible childcare. The event will take place on February 28 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at the Apex Community Recreation Center. This dynamic gathering will unite industry experts, thought leaders, advocates, and business leaders to delve into innovative strategies, best practices, and regional resources addressing the critical issue of workforce childcare challenges.

Affordable childcare offerings within reasonable proximity to home and work are essential for our community to thrive. Unfortunately, Jefferson County only has 67% of the childcare spots we need and the state is short nearly 250,000 spots. Through the B.O.L.D. 2026 initiative, the Arvada Chamber is convening key partners and stakeholders around the state to catalyze a regional approach to solving this problem.

“The 2024 Childcare Summit is a great opportunity for business leaders to learn about initiatives spearheaded by the Arvada Chamber and gain insights into how other local businesses are creatively tackling employee childcare burdens,” said Tess McShane, Director of Housing & Childcare.

Tickets and more information about the 2024 Childcare Summit can be found at arvadachamber.org/childcaresummit. Sponsorships for the event are also available. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the solution and drive positive change in our community!
